My artwork represents the exploration of light in the images I have photographed and painted. This light creates silhouettes, textures, and values. Through this investigation, my work has developed and grown in a direction of both simplicity and creativity. This simplicity is expressed through paint and the camera lens that shows the beauty of people and their world.  The creativity is shown through a unique point of view and perspective. Two artists who constantly inspire me are Ansel Adams and Rembrant. Ansel Adams was the master of black and white photography while Rembrant’s art explored amazing portraits of people and the world they lived in. I hope that you find my work to be both interesting and alive.
